3 Different Methods For Permanent Marker Removal Stains From A Carpet

If you have a kid then you probably need to learn how to remove permanent marker stains from a carpet because every kid loves drawing but doesn’t quite understand that a carpet is not the appropriate canvas to use. Thankfully, permanent marker stains aren’t that hard to remove and there are quite a lot of removal methods out there that you can apply – all of which are super easy and effective!

Today, I decided to share the ones that I have tested and I know for a fact that they work!

3 Different Methods For Permanent Market Stains Removal From A Carpet!

– The First Method

For the first method, you need to prepare a nail polish remover that has acetone in it as well as a cotton ball.

Soak the cotton ball in the nail polish remover then start blotting the affected area. I also recommend you apply a bit of pressure and press the ball onto the ink stain.

Grab another ball, soak it in the nail polish remover again and continue blotting. Repeat until the stain is removed completely.

– The Second Method

Now it’s time for my favourite method – using rubbing alcohol. Again, grab a cotton ball, soak it in the liquid and start blotting and dabbing. Repeat until the stain is removed.

I love this method so much because the rubbing alcohol will quickly evaporate and it won’t leave a bad smell behind.

– The Third Method

If you don’t have any rubbing alcohol at home then I am certain you have hand sanitizer which is basically the same thing. So I recommend you pour a bit of the liquid on the affected area then blot with a cotton ball.

This is just as effective and easy to do as the other methods!
