Even though technically your dry erase board should be clean once you wipe it with the eraser, the reality is a bit different. You will be left with spots, marks, and residue of the marker no matter how hard you try to remove it with the eraser. In those cases, there are other tricks you can use to achieve a spotless surface.
4 Ways To Clean a Dry Erase Board
– Use your hand sanitizer
Yes, believe it or not, using your hand sanitizer will indeed leave your board spotless. Just apply it directly to the areas you want to clean and spread it with a paper towel. Let it sit for a minute before you wipe it.
You will be amazed at the result!
– Use vinegar
Are you surprised that we are talking about cleaning and we mention vinegar? This ingredient truly is incredible and can be used for so many things. Well, today we will use it to clean our dry erase board. Mix a teaspoon of white vinegar with a cup of water then pour the mixture into a spray bottle. Spray the board with it then start wiping with a paper towel.
– Use baking soda
The second most incredible natural ingredient used for cleaning after the vinegar is… baking soda – so we will use it too! Mix baking soda and water in a bowl until you have created a paste. Spread it over the board and start scrubbing the surface with a paper towel.
Once you are done – remove the baking soda paste and wipe with a damp cloth.
– Use baby wipes
If you really don’t feel like mixing ingredients and you want to get over with this cleaning as fast as possible then simply grab a baby wipe and just wipe the board with it. Yes, it does work!
