– The Crumb Tray
You should regularly empty the crumb tray otherwise all of the crumbs may catch on fire. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry it later.
If your toaster does not have a crumb tray, make sure you turn in upside down and shake it so that all of the crumbs can fall.
– The Inside
If you can see that there are still crumbs left, make sure you grab a brush or a toothbrush, for example, and brush the inside of the toaster so that you can remove them. Do not use metal objects or your fingers.
– The Outside
Is the outside of your toaster made from a stainless-steel? If the answer is yes, then you will have no problem cleaning it with a cloth.
Is the outside of your toaster made from some other material? You can use a damp cloth as well to wipe and then use a different dry one to remove the moisture.
